On the occasion of International Commerce Day 2026, the Department of Commerce (Morning Shift) organised a multi-faceted event comprising poster making, model presentation and brand ramp walk.
The event was inaugurated with a floral tribute to Luca Pacioli, the Father of Accounting, and a pledge-taking ceremony to uphold professional ethics and commercial integrity. Participants presented posters on GST, Pan Card, Global Market, Bill of Lading, Advertisement and PPTs on History of Accounting and Augmented Accountant. Model presentations included GST, Modern Accounting and Money through Time. The event also included a dynamic, innovative brand ramp walk by students representing prominent brands like Myntra, Blinkit, Mars, Ponds, Flipkart and Earthlydelight. The event concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony honouring the efforts of the participants, complemented by distribution of commemorative pens as tokens of appreciation.
