The Department of English celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of the poet Robert Frost. On this occasion, the department organised a Poetry Writing Competition, Students’ Seminar & Poetry Reading as a tribute to the poet  

Sanjana Gupta, Sem 1 History Hons., won gold in Senior Kumite Event in the 14th Howrah District Karate Championship 2024 held on 17.03.2024. She has also been selected in the International Karate Championship to be held in July 2024.
